The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is a member supported organization that empowers the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. Our membership is comprised of more than 650 leading media and technology companies that are responsible for selling, delivering, and optimizing digital advertising or marketing campaigns.
As an intern with the IAB, you will have exposure to some of the most important issues facing the industry today and the thought leadership initiatives designed to solve for those issues. You will learn how our organization functions and how we manage a large amount data that allows us to serve our members. Our intern program provides weekly learning sessions developed around key topics each department is working on and an opportunity to participate in industry events hosted by the IAB. We expect you to bring a fresh approach and have input on business objectives and strategies. Networking is a large part of what we do, so you will be given the opportunity to meet employees throughout the organization as well as interns from other programs to exchange ideas, learning experiences and the insight you have gained into the digital economy and how it functions.
The Operations Intern will support the Operations, Membership and other IAB teams with Salesforce (SF) data integrity. This role will be responsible for various data cleanup activities, as well as, supporting the operations team with the migration from Fonteva to Salesforce CPQ.
This position begins on June 11th and ends August 17th. Interns are expected to work approximately 40 hours a week and will be paid $13/hour.
Duties and Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
Assist the Operations, Membership team with various Salesforce data integrity activities, including:
Member grid entries in SF
Engagement decks (help with the committee/council and events raw data)
Setup, manage portal logins
Perform Invoice adjustments in SF
Assist with SF contact update requests
Adding or removing a contact from a member account
Deactivating C&C’s for “in-transition” contacts
Perform updates to the logo folder
Clean up duplicate accounts in SF and updating contact data
Support IAB teams in migrating offline opportunity and Lead information into Salesforce
Support Operations team with Salesforce CPQ Implementation activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Open to feedback and knows how to translate that feedback into action.
Takes ownership of a project and can see it through to completion without significant guidance.
Ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive, team player, and detail oriented.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Major in Computer Science or related major preferred.
