The Vice President (VP) of Learning and Certification is responsible for the development and implementation of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) certification and professional development programs.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Manage and staff the Learning and Certification team.
Develop budget and manage profit and loss (P&L) for Learning and Certification department.
Ensure that the Learning and Certification program achieve budgeted revenue goals by working with the Investment and Relations team to sell training and certification products to member companies.
Work with Marketing team to develop a direct campaign to sell certification and training products to non-member companies and individuals.
Work with the association’s VP of Finance & Operations to oversee operations and finances for the department to assure its sustainability.
Manage the “Local” program, establish community; develop and execute event and training portfolio in designated cities.
Develop enhanced product set for digital seller community, including seller research, sales management training; networking and other activities; as well as establish a community of certified sellers to engage in these activities.
Work with IAB staff to develop IAB professional development curriculum.
Establish and maintain relationships with professional development faculty.
Work with IAB marketing department to communicate professional development events and programs.
Maintain professional development calendar.
Act as the point person for IAB professional development.
Work with events operations to execute on larger professional development events.
Manage relationships with distance learning vendors.
Establish and maintain IAB member councils of HR, learning, and recruiter communities.
Develop training material, handbooks, study guides and courses for certification programs.
Manage and grow the IAB’s certification programs.
Work with IAB member companies HR/Training teams to integrate IAB certifications into their training programs.
Maintain IAB certification program accreditation.
Develop and manage continuing education credits program so candidates to maintain their credential.
Manage the development of additional certification programs.
Work with other industry organizations to coordinate certification programs.
Degree with 5 to 7 years of management and/or professional development experience
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ideal candidate is a self-starter, confident, energetic, positive, focused, dependable, proactive, independent, resourceful and creative, and possesses a “can do” attitude
Ability to work well under deadline pressure, and handle multiple projects at the same time
Experience with distance learning a plus
