The Digital Project Coordinator will manage the day-to-day content of the Siena Heights web site (sienaheights.edu), working with faculty, staff, and outside vendors to design and produce content for site improvement and market relevancy.
Manage the day-to-day content of the Siena Heights web site (sienaheights.edu), working with faculty, staff, and outside vendors to design and produce content for site improvement and market relevancy. The position will also design and produce content for SHU’s CRM platform, direct paid search marketing campaigns, social media, campus signage and design assigned internal/external print and digital projects for the University. Responsible for creating highly strategic, persuasive and memorable content across all platforms to expand brand awareness. Conceptual development, strategy and collaboration on the execution of various content deliverables across a variety of platforms, including website content, blog posts, digital advertising, emails, print collateral, and social media posts. Collaborate with the creative team to create concepts and messaging for major campaigns. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, or relevant field and 2 or more years professional experience. Experience with web Content Management Systems (CMS) a plus. Solid understanding of graphic design, typographic hierarchy, brand standards, print production, basic UX/UI principles, design industry standards and trends, platform and browser capabilities and limitations and digital asset specifications. Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, and Photoshop CC), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, and Excel). Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC a plus. General knowledge in pre-press, printing, and Web standards. Be self-motivated, self-critical, open-minded, creative, and interested in working in a collaborative and communicative environment. Strong time management skills, high level of attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills. Solid communication and presentation skills with the ability to present creative rationales.
