The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) empowers the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. The trade group fields critical research on interactive advertising, while also educating brands, agencies, and the wider business community on the importance of digital marketing.
The IAB requires investments from its members to execute on its industry agenda. The Investment and Relations team (I&R) is responsible for developing new members, retaining existing members, delivering revenue for dues, events, training/certification and research to fund the IAB’s industry agenda. Increased member engagement with IAB activities that align with their interests drives increased investment in IAB. This is an exciting opportunity because the team interacts with the entire digital media and marketing ecosystem including publishers, ad-tech/mar-tech companies, and brands.
The IAB is seeking a Coordinator for the I&R team. Core responsibilities include supporting the team with all administrative needs. This includes data entry and integrity to ensure accuracy of membership data in the CRM. Other duties will include responding to incoming requests, supporting the team for meetings and events as needed.
This is a great opportunity for a detailed-oriented organized self-starter with 1-2 years of work experience to gain a deeper understanding of the digital marketing/media world, while supporting a dynamic team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist with creation of reports for the I&R team and distribute them as needed, including company participation and engagement metric reports
Turn this data into actionable insights in PowerPoint as directed by Membership team
Act as Salesforce power user for the membership team
Membership application processing – inputting member contacts, company business classifications, and company description for new members, as well as, creating the membership record and invoice for finance to review and send
Update Member information after engagement calls, and requests to the team email alias, including updating staff roster and committee & council assignments
Respond to new incoming emails to the group alias
Maintain general database integrity, including merging duplicates and updating contacts who have changed companies
Administrative & Event Support:
Support the Membership team and executives as needed
Schedule membership engagement and onboarding calls
Compose “Cheat Sheet” informational materials for internal membership meeting
Assist with membership dues payment collection
Assist with coordination of Membership events
Occasional finance/invoice assistance
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and qualifications:
1-2 years of work experience in a related role
Strong technological knowledge and ability to learn new systems/databases quickly
Detail oriented with superb organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage quickly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
CRM/Salesforce experience preferred but not required
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
